As every year, on January 20, our educational community comes together to celebrate Saint Sebastian’s Day in a very special way. On this occasion, the protagonists were the 6th grade students, who eagerly prepared their drums the day before to bring the traditional drum roll to the residents of the La Paz nursing home.
The visit was full of emotion, music, and smiles. The sound of the drums filled the space and became a beautiful gesture of closeness and tribute, sharing with the elderly a tradition so deeply rooted in our city.
In the afternoon, the celebration continued in the schoolyard, where the preschool and primary school students gathered to play the drums together. It was a very special moment in which young and old shared rhythm, emotion, and a sense of belonging.
Without a doubt, it was a day full of excitement, tradition, and togetherness, reinforcing the values of respect, solidarity, and community that are part of our educational project.
