Sixth-grade students have recently completed a special project in the Science Unit 2, “Earth’s Resources.” Over several sessions, they worked in small groups to research different aspects of Earth’s natural resources: their origin, types, uses, and the importance of protecting them.
Each group prepared a presentation to explain their assigned section to their classmates. The presentations were clear, visual, and well-organized, showcasing not only their scientific understanding but also their ability to work as a team, organise information, and communicate effectively.
Activities like this help students develop essential skills for their personal and academic growth, such as:
- teamwork,
- active listening,
- shared responsibility,
- respect for others’ ideas.
Students also discovered that learning together is more meaningful and motivating. Each presentation became an opportunity to strengthen cooperation, improve oral communication, and gain a deeper understanding of why natural resources must be used wisely.
We congratulate all our sixth-grade students for their excellent work and enthusiasm, and we encourage them to keep building knowledge collaboratively.
