The 3-year-old students have turned our classroom into a flavour laboratory. Leaving books and paints aside, it has become a professional kitchen where the smell of fresh ingredients and the excitement of the pupils fill every corner.
First step: hygiene
The teacher reminds us of the golden rule of any great chef: total cleanliness. Amidst laughter and soap suds, we have learned that washing our hands is not just a routine, but the basis of healthy eating.
Step two: creativity
The tables in the classroom are full of ingredients. There is everything from fresh, colourful fruit to savoury ingredients that whet the appetite. Each pupil has become the architect of their own lunch. We have learned to present food in a fun way, creating images and faces on the plates with the different ingredients.
Step three: lunch!
A golden ending, without a doubt, as we all sit down together to enjoy our creations. It is a lunch made with our own hands. Silence fell over the class for a few minutes, a sign that everything was delicious!
