Language is the tool that people use to communicate with one another. Furthermore, language is one of the most important instruments for children to get to know the world around them and to establish their first affective relationships. For all these reasons, the process of teaching and learning to read and write is one of the most important learning processes that must begin in Infant Education.
At the school, we start with the learning of reading and writing in the 3 years old classroom. We have different tools at our disposal. Books, songs, stories…. Learning is progressive. At first we start with the vowels, and then we continue with the consonants in a pleasant way.
