“Taupada” classroom

The Heartbeat Project: we grow as persons and as heartfelt.

In Mundaiz, the Heartbeat Project continues to mark the rhythm of our spiritual and pedagogical life. Within this framework, the interiority classrooms and the Taupada Gela become an essential space where interiority takes center stage in each educational stage, in line with the heart values, which promote spirituality as a fundamental pillar in the integral formation of our students.

The Taupada Project, through the interiority workshop and the oratory, is a proposal for personal and spiritual growth based on intrapersonal work and self-knowledge. These practices help students develop a greater awareness of their inner self and strengthen their spirituality from a heart perspective.

From childhood to adolescence, interiority is a fundamental dimension in the personal and spiritual growth of our students. Beyond our corporeality, beyond what we can see and touch, there is a subtle body, an invisible realm that is part of our deepest essence. In this inner space, each person finds his or her true self, his or her most authentic identity. As Corazonistas, we understand that this process is essential to strengthen spirituality and a sense of community and should be worked on from early childhood and throughout school life.

A Renewed Space for the Encounter

Aware of the importance of this process, since we have been working with our students in different ways for more than 20 years, we have renovated one of the three spaces we use, the “Taupada” classroom, adapting it to the needs of the primary school stage. We have created a warm and welcoming environment that invites silence, introspection and connection with the sacred. This space thus becomes a place where each student can find his own rhythm, his own heartbeat in communion with God and with others. From our heartfelt vocation, we continue to promote these spaces as an essential way for the inner and spiritual growth of our students.

At Mundaiz, many of our teachers have been specifically trained to work on both interiority and oratory, ensuring that these experiences are meaningful and transformative for the students. In addition, the school sets aside specific hours every two weeks to work on these aspects, ensuring several spaces per month where the educational community can deepen their interiority and their relationship with God.

In addition, the Taupada gela (classroom) not only welcomes primary school students, but has also become a meeting place for the Shared Mission Team (EMC). In this renovated space, the center’s employees, as well as monitors and retired personnel, find an environment conducive to silence, reflection and the strengthening of their spirituality. Thus, the Aula Latido is consolidated as a refuge for the entire educational community, a place where interiority and faith are intertwined in the same heartbeat.

In this way, it is clear that the Taupada Gela is not only a classroom, it is a space for the soul, a place of tranquility that encourages our students and workers in the discovery of their interiority and the path of faith, rooted in the heartfelt values that define us as an educational institution.
