On 8 May, the pupils in Years 1 and 2 of Primary School visited the San Sebastián Municipal School of Music. There, we had the opportunity to enjoy an entertaining concert entitled ‘Instrument Showcase’.
During the activity, we learnt about different instruments from the brass family, such as the trumpet and the tuba; the woodwind family, such as the oboe and the flute; and also some percussion instruments, such as the drum.
What’s more, thanks to an original “applause meter” that measured the volume of our applause, we were able to choose our favourite instrument. There was some impressive applause and it was a very close call!
It was a really entertaining and enriching experience. We had a brilliant time!
